#28: “Embracing the Taboo” with Colette Pervette (SEASON FINALE)

In the *season finale* of “Love, Lust & Magick”, we are wandering into the world of BDSM, commercial dungeons, kink as healing and so much more with the legendary and incomparable pro-Domme Colette Pervette. In this episode, Colette shares about her journey into the world of kink while in grad school, what it was like to find this part of herself, and how she shares her nearly 20-years of experience with the women she teaches in “Mistress Class”. Gabriela and Colette talk about the initiation of coming out as a sex worker to your parents, and Colette gives Gabriela some guidance on her journey to do so (spoiler alert- this happens for Gabriela sooner than anticipated). Colette shares about her philosophy around kink as a need for us to find equilibrium, before the two bond over Colettes work with her cohort of Dommes called “Mistress Class”- where a new generation of Mistresses are trained in the art, energy, and awareness of BDSM. This conversation is vulnerable, honest, real, and a look into what it’s like carving your own path, one that may not always be easy to move through, but that will always be deliciously perverted.

#27: “In Defense of Thelemites” with Maevius Lynn

Happy Venus Day in Taurus season, witches! In this week’s episode we’re celebrating the season with Thelemite, teacher, and Taurus Maevius Lynn. The conversation begins with Lynn sharing how her school library, philosophy books, and political activism play in her journey into occultism, and specifically Aleister Crowley’s religious, spiritual, and philosophical system of Thelema. Gabriela asks Lynn about the common misconception people have about Crowley and his magick, and what she wishes people kept in mind when discussing the “Wickedest Man in the World”- namely nuance and context. Lynn shares about the often unacknowledged fact of Crowley’s queerness and how this plays into the inclusivity of Thelemites in the modern age. Lynn shares about the ways occultism and ceremonial magick have helped her personal growth, and how those communities have supported her in real life. The two discuss the ways in which Thelema can be a part of your life, before Lynn shares how to begin connecting to this path of magick if you’re curious about it. #26: "Healing for Sluts" with Raquel Savage

Taurus season is for love, lust and pleasure, baby. This week on "Love, Lust & Magick" we're deeply feeling and deeply healing and we're finding the magick therein. Gabriela is joined by iconic sex educator, therapist, and sex worker Raquel Savage to talk about her journey with eroticism, and the healing she's facilitating through her work with Equitable Care Certification. Raquel talks about her devotion to being fully herself, how this played into her work in acedemia, and why she will always be a sex worker. The two talk about the importance of educated mental health professionals who understand the need of their sex working clientele, and how validating it is to find this. Raquel then shares about how her work is for sluts by sluts, empowering her community one therapist at a time.

Welcome to Taurus season, witches. We’re celebrating pleasure and beauty in this episode of “Love, Lust & Magick” with Saturnian artist, high fashion kitschwitch, and all around spooky king Bill Crisafi. The conversation begins with Bill sharing about his upbringing in Salem, Massachusetts, how art is his forever muse, and how was always meant to be a witch. Bill and Gabriela discuss the role of witch in the realm of creativity and art, and Bill shares about what inspires and sustains him to continue alchemizing his internal world. The two muse about the way Bill’s practice naturally extends through many artistic mediums, and how this can also be in collaboration with his partner, fashion designer Hogan Mclaughlin. Gabriela shares her reflections on Bill’s legacy, and how his art inspires play, joy, self-discovery, and shadow work. This week, Gabriela is joined by artist, sensual mystic, and author Alexandra Roxo to discuss her new book “Dare to Feel” and the alchemical path of the heart that she’s devoted to. In this discussion, Alexandra shares about the ways she began her exploration of the erotic and esoteric, how this set her path for her current expression of heart wisdom, which inspired her new book "Dare to Feel". Alexandra and Gabriela then throw it back to when they went to a tantric movie screening gone wrong, and the ways Alexandra's path and life have transformed since. The two wax poetic about the sacred and profane, and how Alexandra's teachings helped Gabriela in her own life. Alexandra then discusses the ways in which ritual and dance keep her connected to her body and heart, how this is part of her latest book, and what this is like in the context of being a new mama. After making it through the fire of the Aries Solar Eclipse, anyone else need a little healing? This week's episode of "Love, Lust & Magick" is just that, as we are joined by prolific author, psychic, and Pisces Witch Mat Auryn. In this episode, Mat shares his magick origin story with Gabriela, spilling on how 90's witchcraft media influenced him, how the first spell he cast really worked, and why he was so intentional about finally claiming the title of witch. Mat and Gabriela then discuss Mat's legendary books and his newest- "Psychic Art of Tarot." Mat dishes on what it means to read tarot as a psychic witch, the difference between psychic senses and intuition, and what makes this book different than the standard tarot text. The episode ends with playing "f*ck, marry, kill" with the tarot deck, and it's probably not what you expect! Welcome to the last week of the astrological year, witches! To celebrate the return of Spring in all its beauty, “Love, Lust & Magick” is joined by iconic beauty editor, fashion writer, and Venusian diva Marie Lodi! Marie shares about her path as a fashion blogger turned beauty editor, and how glamour has always been a part of her path. Marie talks about her forever connection to style, aesthetic and magick thats existed since she was a kid, and about the high femme icons that she still adores. Then Marie shares about her magick experiences growing up, including a successful raindance and some butterfly magick
 
Then Gabriela asks when Marie started calling herself a witch- and Marie shares about how she’s been practicing witchcraft since she was a teenager. The two discuss how our practice can sustain us and help us become our best selves, and of course the conversation turns towards the power of a signature look and the different personalities that come out when we change our self-expression. Then Marie share’s about her love of costume and fashion in film, and how costume designers are the visual storytellers we often forget about as we watch movies.
 
Gabriela and Marie discuss the trends they are loving, like hair bows and rosettes, and how we need more representation for witches who have black thumbs. Gabriela asks Marie about her current old Hollywood sexpot glamour, how Marie would describe her aesthetic, and what she is working on right now (think a fashion blog, but on substack!)
