#17: "Living Your Art" with Gabriella Rosie

Welcome back witches! To celebrate Pisces season, we are diving into the depths of creativity and art as offering to your truest, “”too much”” self. This week, “Love, Lust & Magick” sits down with creatrix art legend and baddie multidimensional artist Gabriella Rosie. The conversation begins with Gabriella speaking of the truth of our creativity, and how we are all creative to our core. Then she dives into the story of how she’s always been creative, making things and using sketchbooks since she was a child- and how honoring these curiosities as an adult is so healing. 
Then the conversation turns to the power of discipline and how Gabriella redefines this for herself, and how taming the inner rebel who wants to fight against self-discipline is part of the work. The two talk about daily routines, and in true triple earth sign fashion, Gabriella discusses the potencies of beginning and ending her day with movement. #16: “Cosmic Edging” with Nadia Betkouchar

Welcome back to the sacred and slutty world of “Love, Lust & Magick”! Today, Gabriela is joined by the mythic astrologer, writer, and Gemini Goddess Nadia Betkouchar. In this episode, Nadia talks about her mystical origin story at Costco that led her to drawing up natal charts by the time she was 13. The two talk about the long gone Bodhi Tree bookstore here in LA, and how this was Nadia’s adult introduction to astrology and magick through the lineage of elders that gathered there. Then Nadia and Gabriela talk about their shared Scorpio Moons- how this enables Nadia to infuse her eroticism into everything she writes, even turning on people in the process, and how this placement moves and feels everything from an erotic place.

#15: “Burning the Patriarchy” with Vixen Temple

Happy Venus Day, sex witches and mystics! To keep the Valentine’s Day vibe going, our guest this week is non-other than New Zealand-based sex work activist, burlesque performer, writer, and sacred slut Vixen Temple. In this very spicy conversation, Vixen Temple shares about her origin story becoming the legend she is today, and how casting a love spell at a sleepover with friends initiated her into her highest sexual self. Vixen Temple shares how sex work played a part in unraveling herself from patriarchal and colonial narratives, allowing her to burn the patriarchy within- and how living somewhere sex work is decriminalized has made this an empowering process. Vixen and Gabriela share what sex work has taught them about boundaries, and Vixen shares her story about becoming a sex work activist; something she reiterated includes advocating for marginalized communities, including LGBTQIA, disabled, and BIPOC communities. 
Then, Vixen Temple and Gabriela get down and dirty with witchcraft. Vixen Temple shares the rituals she works with before and after clients to make sure she’s protecting her peace, power, and energy, and then she she shares how honoring Aphrodite and Lilith play into her sex magick. The two muse about power that comes from honoring the Goddess of Love as sex workers, and the conversation wraps up with Vixen Temple sharing about her solo show “A Strippers Guide to Strip Club Etiquette.” This was such an inspiring episode to record, and it really goes to show you that witches rule the world, and that sex work is work!

“Love, Lust & Magick” is back on this day blessed by the Goddess of Love, to bring you an episode filled to the brim with earthly delights. I am joined by Leah Moth, Gemini creatrix, filmmaker, herbalist, artist and author of “The Botanicals Deck.” In this episode we get into the weeds of Leah’s connection to nature, and she begins the interview by sharing how she came to magick, witchcraft, and herbalism. Leah discusses her experience attending herbalism school and the reason she anthropomorphizes plants as she talks about them. Leah discusses what the spirits of plants and flowers can teach us, before diving into some of her current natural muses. Then Gabriela and Leah discuss Leah’s new oracle deck, “The Botanicals Deck”, what this was like to create, what it taught Leah about herself along the way, and some of her favorite plants and flowers that were featured in this offering. #11: “The Psychic-nes Of It All” with Naha Armady

It’s Venus day, and this week “Love, Lust & Magick” is blessed by the Goddess Herself as we welcome another heavy hitter into the magickal rotation. Gabriela sits down with her teacher and dear friend, Naha Armady, founder of 22 Teachings School of Hermetic Science and Magical Arts. In this episode, the two discuss how Naha came to being a teacher- and the power of being a student first. Naha discusses the initiatic power of a new name to help you integrate all aspects of yourself, before diving into the energy that amplifies when you keep things secret, or “sub rosa”. The duo discuss the reality shifting ability of magick, which can be psychedelic in its own right, even when you’re totally sober. Naha shares her definition of ceremonial magick and hermetic qabalah, before divine into the difference between the esoteric and exoteric, or the inner and outer layers of religion and mysticism. Naha then goes into detail about how her move from Seattle to LA coincided with her sobriety and becoming a professional tarot reader, and how AA and completing the 12 steps were a pivotal magickal process for her. Gabriela shares about her perspective on psychedelics and the downfall of thinking this is a magickal path, and not the door or a tool into your own magick. Naha then discusses about powerful pilgrimages and initiations she received when she went to Egypt and Italy, and how this transformed her inner world. The episode closes with a discussionon the power of choosing your own path and programing, instead of unconsciously receiving this from others. In this episode, inspired by Gabriela’s book “Inner Witch” (known as “Craft in the UK), we cover the basics of witchcraft and what you need to know to begin your practice.
